1916-D 10C MS62 Full Bands PCGS....
Description
1916-D Mercury Dime, MS62 Full Bands
Original Border Toning
1916-D 10C MS62 Full Bands PCGS. With a mintage of only
264,000 coins, the 1916-D Mercury dime became an instant numismatic
delight upon its coinage, and collectors searched circulation for
years seeking examples. Many worn pieces are known today due to
these efforts, while Mint State coins -- especially those with Full
Bands -- are usually attainable only by advanced collectors. This
is a pleasing lower-end Mint State Full Bands piece, showing satiny
luster with champagne-tinged slate-gray patina. Hints of russet
appear in the most protected areas of the fields. Grade-limiting
abrasions are minor.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23GY, PCGS# 4907, Greysheet# 4524)
