O-119, Two Leaves, Pleasing Early Type Coin
1795 50C Two Leaves, O-119, T-1, R.3, Fine 12 PCGS. Tompkins
Die State 2/1. The die lump above the final star is in its infant
stage. A prominent die scratch from E in AMERICA to the wingtip
below confirms the O-119 die marriage. Silver-gray raised devices
contrast with the surrounding fields for pleasing two-tone eye
appeal. The rims are bold for the grade and only a few minor marks
are seen on either side. PCGS Population (for the variety): 2 in
12, 16 finer (9/25).Ex: U.S. Coins Signature (Heritage, 11/2023), lot 3479.
