Rama IX gold 1000 Baht ND (1951) MS61 NGC, KM3, Fr-B1. 173.86gm. An uncirculated Thai "bullion" issue, struck on a thick planchet, containing over five and one half troy ounces of gold. Only the fourth occasion that we've handled this aesthetically pleasing and historically significant issue with two previous Mint State sales clearing the $50,000 mark at our firm.
