João Prince Regent gold 6400 Reis 1817-R MS61 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM236.1, LMB-566, Guimaraes-1817-2.2. The final date of this classic colonial type, seen here with a razor-sharp strike that has survived without wear. Only five examples of the date have been straight-graded by NGC, with this as one of only two Mint State pieces. We anticipate spirited bidding as a result of the coin's conditional scarcity.
