Republic gold 100 Soles 1968 MS66 NGC, Lima mint, KM231, Fr-78. Mintage: 540. Due in part to the low output in 1968, this vibrant survivor perches at the top of the census with just three other pieces. One gets a real sense of quality here, especially in regards to the beautifully lustered patina and absence of detracting marks.
