Description
1803 C-1 Half Cent, AU55
CAC-Approved Conditional Rarity
1803 1/2 C C-1, B-1, R.1, AU55 PCGS. CAC. Manley Die State
2.0. Pristine surfaces are graced with golden-biscuit and
steel-brown coloration, with the former more prevalent in the top
half, and the latter in the bottom half. Striking weakness is only
slight on the obverse. These wonderful factors earned this
superlative specimen a CAC sticker on its Generation 3.1 green
label holder. While this is the most common die marriage of the
year, it is rare in high grade, not becoming readily attainable
until the XF level. From The Siesta Key Collection.
