Description

1810 C-1 Half Cent, MS62 Brown
Originally Colored; CAC-Approved

1810 1/2 C C-1, B-1, R.2, MS62 Brown PCGS. CAC. Manley Die State 1.0. Medium-brown, steel-blue, and golden-biscuit are interspersed throughout unabraded surfaces to create a stunning patina. Strike is strong, save for the right third of each side, as is common for this issue. Housed in a Generation 3.0 old green label holder, which has turned blue due to unstable dyes. The 1810 half cent is a single-die marriage issue, minted to the tune of 215,000 coins. Eckberg estimates 2,000 survivors, with 30 in Uncirculated.
