1883 $3 AU55 PCGS. CAC. The 1883 three dollar gold piece
boasts one of the lowest mintages of the series (just 900 coins),
although a significant percentage of these coins survive due to the
hoarding of the date by contemporary numismatists. This Choice AU
example shows light wear and hairlines, but the fields are deeply
reflective. CAC endorsement adds to the appeal of the blond-gold
