Description

Impressive Near-Gem Red and Brown Octavo

Spanish Colony. Ferdinand VII Octavo 1820 M-F MS64 Red and Brown PCGS, Manila mint, KM8, Cal-80, Basso-23. Featuring a matte-like nutmeg appearance, until tilted in hand, which reveals a shiny bourbon flash in the expanses congruent to its covetable Mint State preservation. The sole highest graded example of this date-type certified by PCGS and tied with one other at NGC, and truly a treat to witness with Red and Brown assignment. Despite characteristic striking weakness to the central devices of the obverse, this does little to detract from the specimens advanced appearances, which is sure to entice even the most quality-conscious collectors of this difficult series.

MS64 Red and Brown PCGS。
