British India. Victoria gold Mohur 1841.-(m) MS62 NGC, Madras mint, KM461.3, S&W-2.3, Prid-20. Continuous legend variety with "S" on truncation of Victoria's neck. Type B/SG. A fantastic Madras mint Victorian Mohur, this date of India's famed gold emission is particularly celebrated when originating from this lesser-encountered city in Southern India. It has been a few years since Heritage has had the pleasure to offer an example of this issue in as high of Mint State grade as seen here.Metal: Gold
