1878-CC Morgan Dollar, MS64
Stunning Deep Mirror Prooflike Surfaces

1878-CC $1 MS64 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. Deep, frosty mirroring emanates throughout all areas of the fields, and is sharply contrasted by the matte-like silver of the devices, creating stunning contrast. All details in the hair and tail feathers are sharply defined. The 1878-CC is the inaugural issue of the Morgan Dollar series from this famed Mint. While multiple reverse styles exist on the Philadelphia issues of this year, all Carson City examples were made with the Reverse of 1878, which has a parallel top arrow feather.(Registry values: P4, N991)
