Qing Dynasty. Wen Zong (Xian Feng) Engraved Master 10 Cash ND (June 1853-February 1854) Certified 88 by Gong Bo Grading, Board of Works mint (Old Branch), cf. Hartill-22.754 (for standard issue). 36.2x2.8mm. 20.4gm. A more elusive Engraved Master, and one of just a small handful in any denomination to reach market for Wen Zong in recent years. Most certainly an advanced specimen, featuring exceedingly sharp characters that project towards the viewer at in-hand inspection. Olive tone percolates across the surfaces creating an advanced visual character that will surely elevate this stunning piece towards the Cash specialist, who covets this first in a generation offering.

寶源局舊廠。36.2x2.8毫米。20.4克。獨樹一幟的一枚雕母，是近年爲數不多的咸豐時期錢幣。此幣鋒棱逼人，字體峭立，手持鑑賞時躍然眼前。橄欖深綠包漿氤氳表面，交相輝映。難得一遇的清代瑰寶，甫一鑄成便躋身頂尖。
