Description

1924-D Twenty Dollar, MS62
Lustrous Orange-Gold Surfaces

1924-D $20 MS62 NGC. Unlike its eternally common Philadelphia counterpart, the 1924-D Saint-Gaudens double eagle is somewhat elusive in middle and upper Mint State grades, rendering lower-end pieces like the present suitable for many collectors seeking an example of this Denver issue. The current coin displays lustrous orange-gold surfaces and is well struck overall, if still weak on the top of the torch. Moderate abrasions define the grade.(Registry values: N2998)
