Sailing ships tossed by monstrous storm waves, Latin Thus All Things Toss and Turn. Rev. IR over shield with three hunting horns, Partially illegible inscription below on crescent. White metal that has been this thoroughly oxidized forms a dark outer layer or "skin" which may chip off to reveal lighter underlying metal as seen on this specimen, which also exhibits wear and edge bumps.Auction Info
