1739 Admiral Vernon Medal, Porto Bello, Adams-PBv-16-M, R.5, XF45 NGC. Ex: Admiral Vernon Collection. Copper alloy. 25.9 mm. One of the more accessible small size medal varieties, though still scarce itself. This piece is uniformly smooth with medium olive-brown and chestnut patina. Faint granularity in the fields is not bothersome. Lightly worn, but most major details remain clear.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 661010)
