1739 Admiral Vernon Medal, Porto Bello, Adams-PBv-17-N, R.6 -- Environmental Damage -- NGC Details. AU. Ex: Admiral Vernon Collection. Copper alloy. 38.1 mm. The obverse die is shared by PBv-17-O, though the Porto Bello ships reverses are distinctly different between the two varieties. Moderate neutralized corrosion appears on the obverse, though the remainder of the medal has deep brown and olive-russet patina. Detail is strong with only light high-point wear evident.Auction Info
