1853 Arrows Seated Dime, MS68+
Sole Finest of the Type at PCGS

1853 10C Arrows MS68+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: Simpson. The Arrows, Stars Obverse Seated dime type was only produced for three years from 1853 to 1855, and is one of the most sought-after types in the series for collectors. The 1853 issue is by far the most plentiful in Mint State, although Superb Gems are conditionally rare. The Simpson coin is the sole finest example certified by PCGS, a stunning, high-end Superb Gem that is almost as close to perfection as possible for the type. Not only that, it is the sole finest example of the entire type at PCGS. Sharp devices complement brilliant, frosty interiors, while vivid sun-gold, violet, and ocean-blue toning frames the margins. Eye appeal is magnificent. Population: 4 in 68 (1 in 68+), 0 finer (11/21). CAC: 2 in 68, 0 finer (12/21).(Registry values: N1)
