1862 3CS PR67 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Simpson. A rare Superb Gem
example of this proof issue, tied with two others for the finest
non-Cameo at PCGS; a trio of Cameo pieces are also reported in this
grade at that service (11/21). Russet, sea-green, blue, and violet
toning encompasses each side. The fields are deeply reflective and
devoid of contact marks. The strike is sharp. The usual die lapping
is seen in the recesses of the reverse design elements. Population:
