1863 Three Cent Silver, PR67
Beautifully Toned Registry Coin

1863 3CS PR67 PCGS. Ex: Simpson. Only a handful of proof 1863 three cent silver pieces are reported in Superb Gem condition at PCGS. The Simpson coin is one of just two non-Cameo examples in this grade at PCGS, an ideal acquisition for Registry collectors. This piece is characterized by mottled, original multicolor toning, including rose, gold, mint-green, blue, and lavender hues. Deeply reflective fields complement sharp, frosty devices. We have not previously handled a non-Cameo proof in this grade in a PCGS holder, making the current coin an exceptional opportunity for the competitive Registry collector.
