Description
1773 1/2 P Virginia Halfpenny, No Period MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. N. 6-X, W-1610, R.3. Obverse 6 has a small cross-shaped die defect over the eyebrow, and a faulty serif to the second G in GEORGIVS. This Choice Mint State specimen olive toning and considerable orange mint color. A lovely example of a scarce die combination. Listed on page 47 of the 2018 Guide Book.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2ATL, PCGS# 244, Greysheet# 71)
