1865 3CS MS64 NGC. Ex: Richmond Collection. One of a mere 8,000 business strikes, the 1865 three cent silver piece is rare at any level of preservation. Aqua, apple-green, and orange patina rolls over each side of this exquisitely struck near-Gem specimen generating considerable eye appeal. An as-made lint mark appears near 9 o'clock on the obverse. Census: 21 in 64, 28 finer (10/13).
