Description
1855 3CS MS64 PCGS. CAC. This was the second year that the Type Two design was implemented, but only 139,000 coins were struck. The 1855 is scarce at this level. Specks of gunmetal toning appear over frosty, largely brilliant surfaces. The central reverse shows strong clash marks. Well-struck with slight softness on the stars. Population: 48 in 64, 26 finer. CAC: 11 in 64, 16 finer (11/18).
