Description

1952-S Half Dollar, Incredible MS67 Full Bell Lines
Among the Four Finest Known

1952-S 50C MS67 Full Bell Lines PCGS. This 1952-S Franklin half with Full Bell Lines designation displays generous luster that runs over both sides, but its calling card is the incredibly vivid, multicolor patina. The strike and subsequent preservation are both equally nice, and a pair of faint scrapes on the lower bell area do not significantly interrupt the progress of the sharp bell lines. This issue can be located with Full Bell Lines through Gem, but the population declines markedly in Premium Gem. PCGS and NGC report a meager four examples MS67 and none finer. Population: 3 in 67 Full Bell Lines, 0 finer (9/15).(Registry values: N7079)
