1921 Alabama 2x2 Half, MS66+
Lightly Toned
1921 50C Alabama 2x2 MS66+ PCGS. CAC. Overall, the 2x2
Alabama Centennial half dollar and is slightly scarcer than its
"plain" counterpart, although the two varieties are relatively
similar in rarity in MS66 and finer grades. This Plus-designated
piece shows sharp details and satiny luster. Both sides exhibit
blended lilac-gray and olive-gold toning, with a few trivial grazes
on the obverse portraits being all that limit the grade. PCGS has
seen seven finer examples (6/15).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# BYEZ, PCGS# 9225, Greysheet# 10221)
