1877 3CN PR66 Cameo PCGS. Popular as a proof-only issue, the 1877 three cent nickels had a mintage of 900 pieces. Many of the pieces are certified with the Cameo designation, but few examples exceed the Premium Gem grade seen here. Iridescent colors interplay across the mirrored fields, while the frosted devices are unblemished save for tiny flecks on the cheek and nose.
