1804 $5 Small 8 -- Smoothed -- PCGS Genuine. AU Details. BD-1, High R.4. A butter-gold example of this very scarce Heraldic Eagle date. Circulation wear is slight but the strike shows blending on the fletchings, breast feathers, and wing west of the shield. Both sides display vertical hairlines from a thorough injudicious cleaning, but smoothing appears confined to the field between the TA in STATES.(Registry values: P2)
