Description

1928-S 25C MS67 PCGS. CAC. In general, Standing Liberty quarters have a hard time achieving the Superb Gem grade level, making any such example, regardless of date, special. This 1928-S representative is one of only nine non-Full Head MS67 coins at PCGS (6/15). Pale lavender-blue and champagne centers deepen to amber-gold and medium olive toning around the peripheries, while the underlying surfaces are devoid of mentionable abrasions. The usual striking softness is seen on the shield rivets and Liberty's head.(Registry values: N2998)
