A Rarity in Higher Grades

1922 $20 MS65 PCGS. The 1922 Saint-Gaudens double eagle is available as fine as MS65, but PCGS reports only 15 pieces numerically finer, and there are only 12 such coins at NGC (6/23). This piece displays softly frosted orange-gold luster and well-struck details. A loupe finds only minute surface marks, none individually bothersome.(Registry values: N2998)
