1853 $1 AU55 PCGS. OC-1, R.2. Osburn/Cushing Die State b-c/a. Die cracks are noted between the first 3 stars only. One die pair only struck the business mintage of 46,110 pieces. The present sharply struck representative displays rose-red, straw-gold, and jade-green patina. The surfaces display lacquer but only lightly abraded.
