Description

1803 Fine 12 Corroded. S-248, High R.4. Distinguished on the obverse by the defective feet on the T and Y in LIBERTY and the lump under the chin. On the reverse the first inside pair of leaves are stemless, and the fraction bar has a second line above it. Localized corrosion is seen at the bottom of the obverse and top of the reverse. Otherwise, there are several small nicks and planchet flaws on the upper obverse, but on the reverse the only mentionable flaw is a planchet void on the rim between 9 and 10 o'clock. Medium-dark brown patina.
