1855 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-168 Original, Pollock-193, R.4, PR63 Brown PCGS. A Flying Eagle cent pattern in a large format, featuring a hooked-neck eagle, slanting 5s on the obverse, and ONE CENT in the center of the reverse surrounded by a thick laurel wreath similar its counterpart on the large cent. Struck in copper with a plain edge. Gunmetal-blue dominates this well struck Select specimen, though orange-red and lilac are also noted. Unlike most Judd-168 patterns, clash marks are absent.
