1859-S $2 1/2 MS61 PCGS. There were only 15,200 quarter eagles minted in San Francisco in 1859, and surviving Mint State examples are quite rare. This piece has brilliant light yellow luster and sharp design motifs with faint, grade-consistent hairlines. An important opportunity for the advanced Liberty quarter eagle aficionado.
