1857-O $2 1/2 AU55 NGC. Variety 1. An apricot-gold Choice AU example of this scarce New Orleans emission. The surfaces are subdued and free from any bothersome marks. The strike is fairly sharp on the curls, although the eagle's extremities show softness.(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25JE, PCGS# 7784, Greysheet# 8383)
