Special Viewing Opportunities for the North Georgia Collection

Dallas, Texas: Bob Korver, Chief Operating Officer of Heritage Numismatic Auctions, has announced special viewing opportunities for the North Georgia Collection of Charlotte & Dahlonega Gold, which will be sold at Heritage's FUN Signature Sale in Orlando, January 6-8, 1999. "We have had so many requests for viewing this $3 million-plus collection that we added two extra viewing opportunities! Numismatists will be able to view the complete collection in Long Beach, California; Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas, Texas; and Orlando, Florida," noted Korver.

The finest and most comprehensive collection of Branch Mint gold ever assembled will be anchoring Heritage's FUN Sale. It includes the finest known example of the legendary 1849-C Open Wreath Dollar. Many of the coins are either the Finest Known or Condition Census. The collection also contains an impressive selection of gold coins produced by private minters, including an 1830 Templeton Reid $2.50 and ten Bechtlers.
