Heritage Dallas December Auction Approaches $10 Million

Dallas, Texas: Heritage Galleries & Auctioneers held the live portion of its most recent Signature Auction December 13 and 14, 2005, at their headquarters in Dallas, Texas. $8,960,223 was realized for 3,108 total lots sold thus far, with after-auction sales still ongoing. A separate On-Line Session, to be held Monday, December 19, 2005, is expected to raise the total to nearly $10 million.

"This is an exciting way to wrap up 2005," said Greg Rohan, President of HG&A, "which has proven to be the best year in Heritage's history. The numismatic market this year has been off the charts, and shows no signs of slowing down going into 2006. I'm extremely excited about our upcoming F.U.N. Signature auctions in Orlando, to be held January 3-7, which, traditionally, has been one of the strongest events of the year for us."

• 1795 $5 Small Eagle MS62 PCGS. REALIZED: $80,500.
• 1795 $1 Flowing Hair, Two Leaves MS62 PCGS. REALIZED: $77,625.
• 1804 25C MS62 PCGS. REALIZED: $69,000.
• 1818 $5 5D Over 50 MS64 NGC. REALIZED: $57,500.
