Heritage's July Dallas Coin Auctions Reach $8.8 Million

DALLAS, TEXAS: More than 3800 bidders participated in Heritage's Signature Auction and OnLine Sessions held in Dallas on July 7-8 (with the OnLine Session closing July 10). Preliminary prices realized for the auctions were $8,789,657, with the final accounting still climbing due to after-auction sales.

"This was a wonderful auction for both Internet and floor bidders," noted Heritage President Greg Rohan, "with great success enjoyed by both groups. More than 1200 Internet bidders were successful, purchasing a large majority of the lots in the auctions. We continue to see successful Internet participation with clients who have learned to utterly trust our superlative images to bid high for material that they desire - and there were plenty of desirable coins among the 6,400+ lots offered! Gold was especially strong, with rarities and high-end pieces bringing exceptional prices."
