Steven Roach Joins Heritage Auction Galleries!

DALLAS, TEXAS: Heritage Auction Galleries, based in Dallas, Texas, is pleased to announce that Steven Roach has joined its staff as Director of its Trusts and Estates division.

"Although we've worked with Trust and Estate executors for years, the addition of Steve Roach to our staff will enable us to really focus on this very important area," said Steve Ivy, Chairman and Co-CEO of Heritage. "Steven's unique knowledge of both the law and the collectibles market makes him a valuable addition to the Heritage team."

Steven received his JD from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and served as senior editor of Ohio State's Journal of Law & Policy, where he published a note on laws affecting financial privacy and was a national-level moot court competitor. A judicial extern to U.S. District Court Judge Gregory Frost, Steven was a summer research fellow for the American Bar Association in Washington, D.C. He received his BA from the University of Michigan where he pursued a dual major in art history and organizational studies.

Prior to starting law school, Steve worked at Heritage as a numismatist and senior grader. He was a grader at ANACS for several years, and has worked with Christie's and Spink-America in New York, and PCGS in Los Angeles. His articles have received two prestigious Numismatic Literary Guild awards and his numismatic exhibits have captured numerous Best of Show awards. In 2000, Michigan Governor John Engler appointed Steve to his home state's 50 State Quarter Design Commission. Steve has been actively involved in numismatics for more than 15 years and the American Numismatic Association named him its Outstanding Young Numismatist of the Year in 1997.
