Temecula Collection Featured At Heritage's 2007 F.U.N. Auction in Orlando

An Eclectic Selection of Five Wonderful Coins

DALLAS, TEXAS: A handful of valuable coins from the Temecula Collection, valued close to a quarter of a million dollars, will be auctioned by Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas at their January 3-6, 2007 official auction of the Florida United Numismatists convention. The auction will be held at the Orange County Convention facility in Orlando. Heritage's auctions at F.U.N. will total more than $50 million of rare coins and currencies. Many lot descriptions and full-color, enlargeable images can now be viewed online at HA.com as the catalog is prepared; the catalog will be officially posted and open for bidding in mid-December.

"The consignor of the Temecula Collection is testing the 'auction waters' for the first since he started collecting decades ago," announced Heritage President Greg Rohan. "His first 'experiment in selling' includes an astonishing five coins worth more than $200,000, which bodes well for future auctions! In fact, we are not entirely sure what additional treasures his collection contains, as he is an extremely private individual. Judging by what he has purchased from Heritage over the years, this may well be an incredible treasure trove of rarity and condition for collectors to be vying for in future auctions."

Highlights from The Temecula Collection:

1797 Large Cent Reverse of 1797, Stems MS64 Brown PCGS

1839 $10 Type of 1840, Small Letters AU58 PCGS

1872-CC $20 AU58 PCGS
