Heritage Auctions Surpass $10.5 Million at Central States Numismatic Society

Dallas, Texas: Heritage Numismatic Auctions, Inc. and its affiliated Currency Auctions of America - Heritage sold more than $10 million in rare coins and currency during the spring convention of the Central States Numismatic Society in St. Louis. Altogether, 10,516 lots crossed the auction block, and realized $10,577,300.

“The Central States auctions in St. Louis were very exciting events,” noted President Greg Rohan. “At times, we had two auctions taking place simultaneously in different rooms, with more than 2,200 bidders participating -- active floor bidders vying with thousands of Internet bids. At the same time, viewing was progressing for all three auctions: HNAI Signature, CAA-Heritage Signature, and the Internet Bullet.”

U.S. coin rarities in the main C.S.N.S. Signature Sale catalog yielded total prices realized of $5,681,633. Currency Auctions of America-Heritage’s CSNS Signature Sale realized $4,333,097. The Internet Bullet, with viewing in St. Louis closed Monday evening with $562,571.
