Heritage Adds Prices Realized Archive To Interactive Internet™ Software

Dallas, Texas: Heritage Numismatic Auctions has announced the release of an important new bidding tool on its popular web site: pricing history from previous sales. "Our Interactive Internet™ software, which drives all of our auction sites, now shows the recent auction history of nearly every lot," noted Bob Korver, Director of HNAI. "This feature will make even better bidders out of our growing ranks of Internet customers. Not only will they know the current bid on each lot, they will also know at a glance what identically-graded prices realized in all our other auctions over the past several years. Since we use the same software for our Signature Sales,™ Bullet Auctions,™ and our Exclusively Internet™ auctions, any bidder who's registered for one sale, is registered for all. The program is very intuitive, and that ease transfers across our entire range of auctions."

The addition of the historical pricing data has been an immediate hit with bidders. The day the pricing d atabase feature was added to Heritage's currently posted Long Beach Signature Sale, this email came from a prominent East Coast dealer: "Historical pricing data from previous Heritage auctions is extremely helpful in figuring my bids. Having this data at the click of the mouse is just another example of Heritage's continued excellence in bringing as much helpful information to the bidder as possible."

"The Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions lists," according to Heritage's Chief Internet Officer Brian Shipman, "are now included below the description for every coin in auction. Most single coin lots in the Long Beach sale already show a pricing history, and this resource will become even more valuable in the future as the database grows."
