Heritage's Exclusively Internet™ Sales Break the $1 Million Barrier

Dallas, Texas: Since the program's inception barely five months ago, Heritage's Exclusively Internet™ auctions have recorded total sales of $1,073,578. The good news came on February 8 with the close of the 20th weekly auction. "Although the sales started in September with average totals of $20,000, the momentum picked up considerably at the end of 1999," noted Holli Hughes, Heritage's Exclusively Internet™ Consignment Coordinator. "Since then, the program has really taken off. The first individual auction to top $100K closed on January 25, and it was promptly followed by another record breaker one week later. And now the $1 million mark is behind us. With a track record such as this, our EI sales should easily exceed $3 million in 2000."

According to Heritage Numismatic Auctions, Inc. Director Bob Korver: "We have counted 1,454 successful bidders to date, a figure that represents well over half the total number of bidders.
