Numismatic Rarities of all Denominations to Anchor Heritage's Central States Numismatic Society Sale

Dallas, Texas: Scheduled for May 4-5 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Heritage's CSNS Sale will bring numerous rarities to the numismatic heartland. Once again, Heritage is the official auctioneer of the Central States Numismatic Society convention. Noted Bob Korver, Director of Heritage Numismatic Auctions, Inc.: "We already have many wonderful coins in this sale, and anticipate receiving even more before the March 23rd consignment deadline. The CSNS convention is typically one of the more popular numismatic events of the year. That fact, coupled with today's strong market, ensures that collectors and investors from around the country will descend on Minneapolis looking to buy. And our sale can deliver the fresh material they'll be searching for."

The Indiana Collection of high quality type coins will be among the impressive offerings in Heritage's upcoming CSNS Sale. "I anticipate considerable bidder activity will surround these spectacular pieces," stated Greg Rohan, Heritage's Executive Vice President. "Bidders will be particularly impressed with the gem-quality Seated and Barber material. There are numerous elusive business strike issues that would be prized finds even in low Mint State grades-but the MS 64 and MS 65 grades offered here are truly noteworthy! And the proof specimens are equally appealing. I'd encourage quality conscious collectors to pay special attention when this collection crosses the auction block in Minneapolis."

Among the other highlights of Heritage's upcoming sale are the Carol June Johnson Collection of technically superior Morgan dollars, and the William Burdick Collection. The latter includes, among other pieces, several survivors from the heavily melted Saint-Gaudens double eagle issues of the 1920s and 1930s. Early proof sets, conditionally scarce commemorative coinage, and rare pattern issues are just a small sampling of the numismatic treasures that will tantalize bidders at Heritage's CSNS Sale.
