Heritage's Upcoming Exclusively Internet™ Sale To Feature PCGS Registry Set of Mercury Dimes

Dallas, Texas: Heritage is pleased to announce that its March 22-28, 2000 Exclusively Internet™ sale will offer the awe-inspiring Dan Miller Collection of Mercury dimes. Listed in the PCGS Registry as the second finest collection of Mercury dimes (after the William Dominick Collection, which Heritage previously had the pleasure of offering), the Dan Miller Collection is the finest Mercury dime collection currently in collector hands. "The PCGS Registry is reserved for only the finest collections," noted Greg Rohan, Heritage's Executive Vice President. "And the Dan Miller Collection more than holds its own alongside the Jack Lee Silver Dollar Collection or the East Coast Collection of Standing Liberty Quarters-both of which are also on the Registry."

Needless to say, Dan Miller did not just complete the Mercury dime series; he obtained representatives of all 77 issues in stellar levels of preservation. Continued Rohan: "The average grade of the collection is an impressive 66.22, and every coin has Full Split Bands. PCGS has pointed out that the 1940 and 1940-S, both of which grade MS 67 Full Bands, are the finest known survivors of the issues. I'd also add that most of the key issues are within one grade of finest known. It would be an honor for Heritage just to display this set, but to offer it for sale as part of our EI program represents one of our most prestigious achievements."
