Heritage Offers Important Rarities in March Portland ANA Signature Sale

Dallas, Texas: Heritage's Portland ANA Signature Sale will be held March 25-27 at the ANA National Money Show in Portland, Oregon. The three-session sale features 2,000 lots, and marks the 31st selection of Heritage as the official auctioneer of the American Numismatic Association. The lots in the March Portland Bullet Sale will also be available for bidder inspection during the Signature Sale. The Bullet Sale will take place on March 29 at Heritage's award-winning website, www.HeritageCoin.com.

"The Portland ANA Signature Sale is stocked with notable rarities," asserted Heritage President Greg Rohan. "An 1856 Flying Eagle Cent with the rare Snow-5 die pairing is encapsulated as PR66 by PCGS. An Uncirculated 1969-S Doubled Die Cent, MS62 Brown PCGS, would be the highlight of any Lincoln Cent variety collection. An 1834 Capped Head Quarter Eagle, graded as MS62 by PCGS, is the key date of the type and is among the finest certified. The 1927-S Double Eagle is rare in all grades, but the Portland sale includes one of the finest known examples, certified as MS66 by NGC."

The Fred Miller Collection is an important consignment to the Portland Signature Sale. Dr. Miller built an impressive type set that ranges from Half Cents to Double Eagles, and his pedigree will soon be a valued addition to many advanced holdings.

The first part of the Dr. Robert Wharton Collection was an anchor consignment to Heritage's January 2004 Long Beach Signature Sale. Part II is offered in the Portland Signature Sale, and features a stellar mix of type coins and a high grade set of key date Standing Liberty Quarters.
