Press Release - March 5, 2004

Heritage to Auction Eric Kreuter's Registry Sets of Proof Roosevelt Dimes at CSNS in Milwaukee

Dallas, Texas: Heritage will be selling the Eric A. Kreuter Collection of Proof Roosevelt Dimes at its official auction at the Central States Numismatic Society convention, May 6-8, 2004 in Milwaukee. Central States is one of America's leading coin clubs, and Heritage has been presenting official auctions at their spring conventions since 1993.

"This extraordinary Collection," noted Heritage President Greg Rohan, "holds multiple records on the PCGS Registry. His Proof Roosevelt Dimes with Varieties Set (1965 - Present) holds the #1 All-Time and #1 Current rankings on the PCGS Registry; his Proof Roosevelt Dimes Basic Set (1965-Present) holds the #2 All-Time and #2 Current ranking on the PCGS Registry; finally, his Proof Roosevelt Dimes (1950-1964) is ranked #4 Current and #5 All-Time on the PCGS Registry. Heritage has earned its reputation as the leading auction of Registry coins over the past three years, but I cannot recall one collection ever holding so many records."

Eric Kreuter, a Certified Public Accountant and Adjunct Professor of Human Resource Management, has been involved in numismatics for over 30 years. His most recently completed collecting interest has been the careful assembly of the finest set of modern proof Roosevelt dimes, including many of the finest known for the date and variety. His collection includes the infamous 1968 No "S" in Proof 68 Cameo and the finest known 1970 No "S" Dime in Proof 69 Cameo. Mr. Kreuter's other interests include running marathons (he has done 26 in three years), writing, oil painting and drawing, and is a doctoral candidate, completing his Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
