Heritage's Pittsburgh ANA Signature Auction Catalog Posted at HeritageCoins.com

Dallas, Texas: Heritage Numismatic Auctions Inc.'s 2004 Pittsburgh ANA Signature Auction, the official auction of the American Numismatic Association's World's Fair of MoneyƓ, will take place in Pittsburgh, August 18-21. The catalog has just been posted at HeritageCoins.com, and the printed catalog will be available shortly.

"The Pittsburgh ANA auction," explained Heritage President Greg Rohan, "is filled with incredible rarities, including hundreds of 'Finest Known' coins, and many hundreds more accorded "Condition Census' rankings. Included in our offerings is the JFS Collection, the #1 All-Time Complete Collection of Classic Commemoratives, which alone contains dozens of coins graded with none finer, but the total number of Registry-level coins in this ANA is simply astonishing."

"Our Pittsburgh ANA approaches some $20 million in value," noted Heritage's Co-Chairman Jim Halperin, "thanks to our many anchor collections plus individual rarities from more than 250 individual consignors. Additionally, we are gratified by how many of our anchor consignors are 'repeat' clients - that is, consignors who were so thrilled with their prices realized from previous sales that they have entrusted Heritage with even more of their beloved coins."

Featured collections in Heritage's Pittsburgh ANA Signature Auction include: The Harold W. Anderson Collection, Part Two; The Del Rio Collection, Part Two; The Frank O. Fredericks Collection, Part Five; The Greenwich Collection, Part Two; The Reed Hawn Collection of Mercury Dimes; The Dr. Frank Lanza Collection of Walking Liberty Halves; The Velma & Bowie Lynch Collection, Part Four; The Estate of John Naylor, Part Two; The Paulsboro Collection, Part Three; The Larry Rausch Collection, Part One; The David Raynard Collection, Part Two; The JFS Collection, Part Two; The Karl Scheible Collection; and The John Michael Stuart Collection, Part Two.

"While it is difficult to choose the most impressive offerings, "concluded Rohan, "one cannot help but be impressed by the selection of Proof Double Eagles, and the exceptional group of 1907 coinage put together by John Michael Stuart. Specialists in gold coinage may consider this the most exciting ANA auction ever. Of course, specialists in each area will find coins that come complete with impressive 'bragging' rights"
