Heritage Weekly Exclusively Internet Auction Breaks $500,000 Barrier Again.
Dallas, Texas: Heritage's Exclusively Internet ("EI") sale #24091 closed Tuesday, September 7. With 731 bidders competing for 2,162 lots, 407 were successful. Total sell-through was $510,769.38 for 1,280 lots sold (59.20%). 80 lots in this sale were purchased post-auction, for a total of $88,577.78. According to Jim Halperin, Co-Chairman of Heritage, "This was a tremendous Internet result. We were less than $3,000 short of breaking our highest-grossing EI coin sale ever." The highest-grossing Heritage Exclusively Internet auction ever closed on February 10, 2004, and grossed $513,391.
