Heritage Reports a New Record for Weekly Exclusively Internet Auction Results
Dallas, Texas: Heritage's Exclusively Internet ("EI") sale #24094 closed Tuesday, September 28. With 952 bidders competing for 2,417 lots, 551 were successful. Total sell-through was $688,481.05 for 1,747 lots sold (72.27%). 85 lots in this sale were purchased post-auction, for a total of $49,145.55. According to Jim Halperin, Heritage's co-chairman, "This was by far our best EI sale to date. The bidding activity was just amazing." The previous two records for a Heritage Exclusively Internet auction had been $530,707.75 and $512,391.05 on September 21, 2004 and February 9, 2004, respectively.
