Undated (1792-94) Kentucky Token MS 63 Brown. 12.22 grams. An exceptional Kentucky token that still shows much underlying glossy luster even though toned brown and cobalt-blue over both sides. Upon close examination one notices a few small abrasions scattered about, but this does little to diminish the overall attractiveness of the coin. Listed on page 55 of the 1996 Guide Book. Undated (1792-94) Kentucky Token MS 63 Red and Brown. 11.69 grams. An absolutely stunning token that is very nearly preserved in the same state as it was struck some 200 years ago. The obverse has toned a bright cerulean-blue with much underlying mint red still in evidence and showing more at the margin. The reverse is a uniform, bright, mint red and is essentially "as struck." Sharply defined with full lettering on the scroll. Listed on page 55 of the 1996 Guide Book. (PCGS# 793)

1794 MS 60 Brown ANACS. B-9, C-9, R.2. Ex: Roger Cohen. Late die state with the crack through the tops of IBERTY and a heavy crack from the rim to the cap and hair. Additional die stress is evident above NITE, as seen on other examples of this die pairing. Very weakly struck in the centers, but the surfaces show moderate amounts of faint red color on each side. Myriad contact marks are generously sprinkled over both the obverse and reverse. An important and valuable early half cent, and undoubtedly a condition census coin.
Ex: Roger Cohen Collection (Superior, 2/92), lot 38; purchased by Cohen from Jim McGuigan at the 1986 ANA in Milwaukee. (PCGS# 1003)
