1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling VF30 PCGS. Noe-5, Crosby 2-D, R.2. 69.4 grains. Generally with pearl-gray patina, although hints of olive color reside in protected areas. Die breaks (as made) before and after the A in AN DOM. The oak tree has wispy pinscratches near its northeast corner, and the borders are irregular as made. The obverse is slightly off-center, with the legends below the oak tree mostly but not completely on the flan. The eye appeal is very strong overall for the grade, as the oak tree and the majority of the legends are bold. Listed on page 18 of the current Guide Book.

1783 1C Washington Unity States Cent VF30 PCGS. Baker-1, R.1. Rich tan-brown and lilac patina. Nicely detailed in the centers, with weakness noted on the peripheral legends. Washington's nose has a couple of mildly distracting pinscratches, but the surfaces are otherwise choice. Listed on page 59 of the 2002 Guide Book.

1862 1C Cent--Double Struck, Partial Collar--MS60 ANACS. The planchet rotated slightly between impressions, evidence of which is plainest at the denticles and along the left side of the reverse shield. Both sides are originally preserved with rich sandy-tan color that deepens in the more protected areas around the devices and at the rims. Some light verdigris at the lower reverse denticles is noted, as is a reverse rim ding at 1 o'clock.

1984 1C Doubled Die MS65 Red PCGS. Satiny red-copper luster beams across the surfaces of this coin, a Cent appearing as fresh as when first struck. Streaky patina is evident on each side, and amazing fiery-red iridescence can be seen on the obverse, with the aid of a strong light source. There are no visible surface distractions at all. The doubled ear is easy to see on this example. (PCGS# 3062)

1835 H10C MS62 NGC. V-10, LM-5.2, R.3. Rich reddish-copper toning overlays both sides and yields to near-brilliance in the center of the reverse. The otherwise sharp strikes wanes a little over the obverse denticles, but, with no singularly mentionable abrasions, this coin presents remarkably well for the BU grade level. Some metal flow lines (as struck) are noticed in the obverse field at Liberty's profile. (PCGS# 4282)
